Dunki Day 5 Box Office Collection for the Christmas Holiday

As of Christmas Day, Dunky’s box office performance is quite impressive. After opening with Rs 29.2 crore on Thursday, the earnings fell slightly to Rs 20.12 crore on Friday. However, it bounced back over the weekend, collecting Rs 25.61 crore on Saturday and Rs 30.7 crore on Sunday. The film’s Monday collection is estimated at ₹22.5 crore, bringing the total net collection in India to ₹128.13 crore after 5 days.

After four days of global dunking, the total worldwide collection is said to be ₹211.13 crore, of which ₹79 crore came from overseas markets. After the fifth day, the film is expected to cross the ₹250 crore mark and become one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2023. The production cost of Danki is reported to be ₹120 crore.

In comparison, Dunky is facing competition from Prabhas’ Salar: Cease Fire – Part 1, which released a day after Dunky. Salar has proved to be a strong contender, grossing around Rs 255 crore in the domestic market in four days and ₹ 325 crore worldwide in just three days.

If Danki manages to cross ₹250 crore after Monday’s figures, it will become the 8th biggest film of the year, leaving behind OMG 2 (₹221.75 crore) and Too Jhuti Main Mekkar (₹223 crore) to be Dunki’s next milestone B reaching the ₹302 crore mark set by The Kerala Story.
