A tragic incident happen in Uttar Pradesh, Gang Rape in Agra Homestay, Uttar Pradesh Police Arrested 5 including Women. Uttar Pradesh police said they received a call from a woman on Saturday night, Uttar Pradesh police rushed to the location and took action against the culprits.
Tajganj police on Saturday night received information that a woman was raped and assaulted at an affluent homestay here. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Agra Sadar, Archana Singh said on Sunday that a case has been registered under relevant sections as per the complaint of the victim.
Agra police said five people, including a woman, have been arrested after receiving information about the incident. Police said the young woman was a hotel employee. A viral video shows the victim being attacked by a group of people.
Agra Sadar Assistant Commissioner of Police Archana Singh said, “Four men and a woman have been arrested after the incident. The victim will be medically examined and legal action is being taken in the case.”
Police said a case has been registered under rape, assault and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigations are ongoing.
